Onyx’s website describes Onyx Predictions LLC as an introducing broker and says customer accounts are maintained by NinjaTrader Clearing. That is different from saying Onyx itself is the exchange or holds customer funds. These are operator disclosures, not an independent audit of regulatory status.
The same website also promotes social sweepstakes and bonus picks. A reader comparing prediction markets should ask which balance a promotion credits, which entity carries the account and whether the selected market is an event contract. If the answers point to the social product, that is a different comparison.

BestOdds describes the prediction offering as not yet fully launched and acknowledges uncertainty about future fees and markets. Our current browser capture shows a Predictions launch banner naming CA, NJ, CO, LA, IN, WV, ID, ME and AL. This is newer evidence of a limited rollout, but does not prove every advertised category is tradeable. We leave account-level launch status unconfirmed.
The general terms and homepage also present different contexts for geographic access. We do not recycle the social-product state list as a prediction eligibility list. Ask support for the current prediction-account agreement, supported states and withdrawal policy. Save the response and compare it with the agreement actually presented during onboarding.

No. The brand describes separate company roles and product experiences. Sweepstakes coins, bonus picks and state rules must not be assumed to apply to prediction brokerage accounts.
Does Onyx hold the prediction account funds?
Onyx’s disclosure says Onyx Predictions does not hold customer funds and identifies NinjaTrader Clearing as the account carrier. Confirm the current agreement when opening an account.
Are all advertised prediction categories live?
